Softball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton fell victim to Plano West and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Plano West Wolves, falling 12-0. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Princeton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dahlia Gutierrez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Plano West, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Coincidentally, Princeton and Plano West will both be playing Prosper the next time they take the field. Princeton will head out to face Prosper at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Plano West will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
