Volleyball Recap: Harlandale Comes Up Short at Home Against San Antonio Christian

Harlandale unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the San Antonio Christian Lions on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-18.

Mia Padron paced Harlandale's offense, picking up nine kills. Padron got some help from Jenna Sandoval and her 17 assists.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harlandale will challenge Poteet at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for San Antonio Christian, they will welcome TMI-Episcopal at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
