Baseball Recap: Fort Wayne Canterbury Victorious

Fort Wayne Canterbury won the last time they faced Southern Wells and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cavaliers won by a run and slipped past the Raiders 4-3. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cavaliers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

JP Rohwer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Fort Wayne Canterbury saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Evans, who went 1-for-3 with one run. Braylon Maxey was another, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
