Baseball Recap: American Comes Up Short

American was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gunn Titans.

American saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dillon Hsiao, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

American's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Gunn, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, American will venture away from home to take on Woodside at 3:30 p.m. on March 12th. As for Gunn, they will host Harker at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
