Basketball Game Preview: Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix vs. Andrews Wildcats

The Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix will face off against the Andrews Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Winston-Salem Prep is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since February 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Bishop McGuinness, falling 56-36. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Phoenix's biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Meanwhile, Andrews had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Black Knights by a score of 55-44.

Winston-Salem Prep better keep an eye on Ty Clark. He was instrumental in Andrews' win, almost dropping a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Clark's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Logan Shuler, who posted eight points.

Winston-Salem Prep's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Andrews, their victory bumped their record up to 20-7.
