Soccer Recap: Pleasant Valley Comes Up Short

Pleasant Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Muscatine Muskies. That's two games in a row now that Pleasant Valley have lost by exactly four goals.

Pleasant Valley's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 5-7-1. As for Muscatine, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0-1.

Looking ahead, Pleasant Valley will challenge Metea Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Metea Valley will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Pleasant Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Muscatine, they will square off against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Muscatine will be up against Notre Dame's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.29 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
