Nazareth Academy and Archbishop Carroll squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Nazareth Academy had to settle for second. They lost 14-4 to the Archbishop Carroll Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Nazareth Academy of the 9-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
For Archbishop Carroll's part, Emma Lamlin was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Russ, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
