Basketball Recap: Laporte Takes a Loss

Laporte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were beaten by the McGregor Mercuries 90-17. The Wildcats lost against the Mercuries in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 81-72 score last time.

Laporte's defeat dropped their record down to 3-23. As for McGregor, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-14 record this season.

Laporte has already played their next game (against Kelliher/Northome), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. McGregor also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia].
