Volleyball Game Preview: Everest Collegiate vs. Regina

Everest Collegiate will be taking part in a tournament against Regina at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Everest Collegiate lost 3-0 to Bishop Foley on Thursday. Everest Collegiate has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Everest Collegiate was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-23, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Regina came up short against L'Anse Creuse North on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Regina started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-21.

Regina's loss dropped their record down to 15-13-1. As for Everest Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5-2.

Everest Collegiate took their win against Regina in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will Everest Collegiate repeat their success, or does Regina has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
