Recap: Western Warriors vs. Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers
The Western Warriors lost against the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Western was dealt a 71-24 defeat at the hands of Pleasure Ridge Park. Western has not had much luck with Pleasure Ridge Park recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Western lost, one person who can't be blamed is Leslie Bright. Despite the final result, she scored 17 points. Bright scored a full 70.8% of Western's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Western's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western will face off against Ballard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they will head out on the road to face off against DuPont Manual at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
