Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brighton). Everything went their way against the Northglenn Norsemen on Tuesday as the Brighton Bulldogs made off with a 93-71 victory. With the Bulldogs ahead 48-27 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Brighton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Micah Spotts led the charge by on his way to 18 points and seven boards. That's the most points Spotts has posted since back in December of 2023. Vance Martinez was another key player, to rack up 20 points and seven rebounds.

Brighton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive contests.

Northglenn lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Noah Scrivani, who en route to 20 points and three steals. His big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avin Franklin, who on his way to 16 points.

Brighton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points over those games. Northglenn is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Brighton has already played their next matchup, a 63-54 win against Erie on the 20th. As for Northglenn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-59 defeat against Riverdale Ridge on the 20th.
