Softball Recap: T.C. Roberson Takes a Loss

T.C. Roberson managed to slip by Brevard the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The T.C. Roberson Rams lost 7-0 to the Brevard Blue Devils on Monday. The loss leaves the Rams still looking for their first win of the season.

Aniyah Davis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and six unearned) runs on nine hits. Those hits were her first of the season.

T.C. Roberson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brevard, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. T.C. Roberson will take on North Buncombe at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brevard, they will square off against North Henderson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brevard is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.2 runs per game this season.
