Basketball Recap: Eufaula Takes a Loss

Eufaula was the 72-50 winner over Providence Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Eufaula Tigers came up short against the Providence Christian Eagles on Tuesday, falling 67-47. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Eagles are ranked 66th).

This is the second loss in a row for Eufaula and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for Providence Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.

Eufaula will square off against Headland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Headland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Providence Christian, they will challenge Geneva County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
