Softball Recap: Sanborn Regional Takes a Loss

Sanborn Regional lost against Oyster River back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Indians lost 18-6 to the Bobcats.

Hannah Lambert made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. Ardyn Bryan was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Sanborn Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Oyster River, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sanborn Regional is set to take on their familiar foe ConVal at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Oyster River will challenge rival Coe-Brown Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
