Football Recap: Strayhorn Takes a Loss

Strayhorn lost against Independence back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 40-6. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Strayhorn now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Independence, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Strayhorn is taking a road trip to challenge Coffeeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Independence, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holly Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
