Football Recap: Maine East Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Maine East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Maine West Warriors, falling 49-0. The Blue Demons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Maine East's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Maine West, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Maine East will venture away from home to challenge Niles North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Demons will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.29 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Maine West, they will head out on the road to face off against Vernon Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
