Basketball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 66-27 loss at the hands of the Redmond Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Panthers are ranked fourth).

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Redmond, the win (which was their 22nd in a row) raised their record to 22-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mountain View is set to challenge their familiar foe Caldera at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Redmond will face off against rival Crook County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
