Basketball Game Recap: Choctaw County Chargers vs. Aberdeen Bulldogs

Aberdeen came into Friday's game looking for another win against Choctaw County, but Caleb Cunningham wouldn't allow it. The Choctaw County Chargers managed a 57-52 victory over the Aberdeen Bulldogs on Friday thanks in part to Cunningham, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Chancen Mosley, who posted five points and 12 boards. Those 12 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Choctaw County's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-9. As for Aberdeen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

Choctaw County will take on East Webster at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aberdeen, they will square off against Nettleton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
