Baseball Recap: Gulf Breeze Triumphs

Gulf Breeze won the last time they faced Tate and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dolphins came out on top in a nail-biter against the Aggies, sneaking past 5-3.

Gulf Breeze got a great performance from Brock Prindle as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

On the hitting side, Parker Boyd was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Gulf Breeze's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Tate, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 16-6 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gulf Breeze will welcome Lincoln at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tate, they will host Robertsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
