Softball Recap: Sheldon Has No Trouble Against Folsom

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Sheldon prevailed. Everything went their way against the Folsom Bulldogs on Thursday as the Sheldon Huskies made off with an 11-1 win. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 5-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Regan Wise, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Madison Chapman, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Sheldon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Folsom, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheldon will welcome Pioneer at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Folsom, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Casa Roble at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
