Basketball Recap: Leland Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Leland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They managed a 51-45 win over the Benzie Central Huskies on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Comets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 630th, while the Huskies are ranked 275th).

Leland's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-12 and their overall record up to 2-17. As for Benzie Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Leland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Benzie Central, they will face off against Ludington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
