After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, The Daniel Academy finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Christ Prep Academy Patriots, falling 12-2. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The Daniel Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Maldonado, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

The Daniel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Christ Prep Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-11.
