Basketball Game Preview: Martinsburg Christian Academy Warriors vs. Lighthouse Baptist Academy Eagles

The Martinsburg Christian Academy Warriors will head out to challenge the Lighthouse Baptist Academy Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Martinsburg Christian Academy had to suffer through a 54-26 loss at the hands of Odenton Christian. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the EAGLES recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Lighthouse Baptist Academy came up short against Varsity Opponent on Thursday and fell 57-46.

Martinsburg Christian Academy will need to focus on slowing down Nick Schott, one of several Lighthouse Baptist Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 16 points. Schott's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Varney, who earned 15 points.

Martinsburg Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lighthouse Baptist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.

Martinsburg Christian Academy was dealt a bruising 69-27 loss at the hands of Lighthouse Baptist Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Martinsburg Christian Academy was down 40-9.
