Volleyball Game Preview: Andover Huskies vs. Anoka Tornadoes

The Andover Huskies will face off against the Anoka Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Andover is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Minnesota's top teams: Coon Rapids, who was ranked tenth at the time (Andover was ranked seventh). The Huskies came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 22-25, 25-22.

Anoka not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 5th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Forest Lake as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Anoka was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-17, 25-18.

Anoka's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. As for Andover, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
