Volleyball Recap: Omro's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Omro hadn't done well against Hilbert recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Foxes came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 2-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Foxes as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Their offense was headlined by Payton Reiter and Addison Larsen, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Kira Button and her 14 assists. She and Larsen didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Omro's victory bumped their record up to 8-24. As for Hilbert, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.

Looking ahead, Omro will host Lomira at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hilbert, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Wittenberg-Birnamwood on the 4th.
