Alisal had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Greenfield on Thursday. The Trojans blew past the Bruins 3-0. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Bruins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Alisal was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15, 25-7.

Alisal's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Greenfield, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

Looking ahead, Alisal will take on Watsonville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenfield, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Monterey at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
