Softball Recap: Triton's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Triton waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Pine Forest Trojans by a score of 8-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Bailey Johnson was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game.

Triton's record now sits at 12-2. As for Pine Forest, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Triton will square off against rival Terry Sanford at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Pine Forest is set to take on their familiar foe the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
