Basketball Recap: Cumberland Gap Comes Up Short

The Cumberland Gap Panthers didn't have quite enough to beat the Cosby Eagles on Friday and fell 56-53. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cumberland Gap's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Cosby, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cumberland Gap will head out to take on Gatlinburg-Pittman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cosby, they will venture away from home to face off against Cocke County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
