Basketball Recap: William Floyd Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

If Patchogue-Medford wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played William Floyd, they should've done a better job of containing Savannah Pantry. The William Floyd Colonials came out on top against the Patchogue-Medford Raiders by a score of 50-39 on Tuesday thanks in part to Pantry, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 16 boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.

William Floyd has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Patchogue-Medford, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
