On Wednesday, Calhan didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Swink, but they still walked away with a 46-41 victory.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 35-8, which was the final score in Miami-Yoder's tilt against Genoa-Hugo/Karval on Wednesday. The contest marked the Buffaloes' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Calhan pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points over those games. As for Miami-Yoder, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
