Big Bear entered their tilt with Excelsior Charter on Wednesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They took their matchup with ease, bagging an 80-52 win over the Excelsior Charter Eagles. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.

Big Bear got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brennen Berge out in front who went 6 for 14 en route to 15 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. That's the most points Berge has posted since back in January of 2024. Aiden Brewer was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Big Bear's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Excelsior Charter, they moved to 11-3 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Big Bear will square off against Silver Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Silver Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Excelsior Charter, they will challenge Lucerne Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
