Pinecrest has gone a perfect 10-0 against Richmond Senior recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Raiders at 6:15 p.m.

On Tuesday, Pinecrest came up short against Hoke County and fell 3-1. While the Patriots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bucks 25-17 in the first set.

Pinecrest started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-22, 25-13, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Richmond Senior was able to grind out a solid victory over Overhills on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Richmond Senior walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-8, 18-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Pinecrest's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Richmond Senior, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Pinecrest skirted past Richmond Senior 3-2 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
