Softball Recap: Landstown Comes Up Short

Landstown and Western Branch squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Landstown had to settle for second. They fell 5-0 to the Bruins. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Landstown saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrielle Griffin, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Landstown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Western Branch, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

As of now, neither Landstown nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
