Softball Recap: Delta Charter Comes Up Short

Delta Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-5 to the Millennium Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-2 last Friday.

Delta Charter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Desiree Cabral, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Delta Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Millennium, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Delta Charter will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Venture Academy at 3:00 p.m. As for Millennium, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-1 victory against Elliot Christian on the 19th.
