Softball Recap: East Prairie Eagles vs. Senath-Hornersville Lions
East Prairie won the last time they faced Senath-Hornersville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Lions by a score of 10-5.
Jonna Rice made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

In other batting news, Chloe Jackson was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Ella Dunn also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
East Prairie's record is now 16-8. As for Senath-Hornersville, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
As of now, neither East Prairie nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
