Recap: Pahrump Valley Trojans vs. River Valley Dust Devils
The Pahrump Valley Trojans put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 59-11 victory over River Valley on the road. With Pahrump Valley ahead 40-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.
It was another big night for Paris Coleman, who scored 14 points along with three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Heaven Cooper was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Pahrump Valley pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for River Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Pahrump Valley and Moapa Valley will face off at 1:30 p.m. on December 21st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Moapa Valley is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. River Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Parker at 1:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
