Baseball Recap: Newman Central Catholic Wins Going Away Against Mendota

Newman Central Catholic had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Mendota on Wednesday. The Comets blew past the Trojans 11-1. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Matznick is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Garet Wolfe was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
