Volleyball Recap: Abington Heights Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Abington Heights lost against Holy Redeemer back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Comets took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 23-25, 25-17.

Shawn Theodore Jr. paced Abington Heights' offense, picking up ten kills. Theodore Jr. got some help from Ryan Horutz and his 17 assists.

Abington Heights' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3. As for Holy Redeemer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.

Abington Heights didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Crestwood on the 8th. As for Holy Redeemer, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Tunkhannock on the 8th.
