Soccer Recap: Whitehouse Takes a Loss

Whitehouse and Lovejoy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Whitehouse had to settle for second. They came up short against the Leopards, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Whitehouse can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Lovejoy are ranked 27th).

Whitehouse's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5-5. As for Lovejoy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-1-1.

Whitehouse does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lovejoy, they will face off against Lone Star on Monday.
