Soccer Recap: South Fayette Takes a Loss

South Fayette fell victim to Trinity and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Hillers by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, South Fayette can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 311th, while Trinity are ranked 135th).

This is the second loss in a row for South Fayette and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Fayette will face off against Upper St. Clair at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity, they will head out to face off against Canon-McMillan at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
