Soccer Recap: Andrean Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It's playoff time, and Andrean had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Wheeler Bearcats get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Andrean hit Wheeler with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabe Williams, Michal Bucko, and Fabian Medina.

The win was the third in a row for Andrean, bringing their record up to 9-8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Wheeler, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-8-1.

Coming up, Andrean will square off against Hammond Academy of Science & Tech at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wheeler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
