Volleyball Recap: Shelby Matteson and Aubrey White Secure Win for Milton

Milton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the West Forsyth Wolverines. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Milton to victory were Aubrey White and Shelby Matteson. White had 13 digs, while Matteson had four aces and three digs. Those 13 digs gave White a new career-high.

Milton's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for West Forsyth, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Milton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Northgate on the 9th. As for West Forsyth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Glynn Academy on the 9th.
