Johnson City is a perfect 7-0 against Junction since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Not much got past Bo Crownover, who gave up just two hits and racked up 16 Ks to keep Junction off the board. Those 16 strikeouts gave Crownover a new career-high.
At the plate, Sara Kuvet was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabelle Haley, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.
Kuvet wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Johnson City kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive games.
