Lake Travis proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 27) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Cedar Ridge Raiders 53-51. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Cedar Ridge's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rhett Route, who posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Leath, who had six points and eight rebounds.

Lake Travis' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Cedar Ridge, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Lake Travis will be taking part in a tournament against Pearland at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Cedar Ridge, they will take on Granbury in a tournament on Thursday.
