Softball Recap: Maple Grove Crimson vs. Mankato East Cougars

Maple Grove was the 2-0 winner over Mankato East when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Maple Grove Crimson lost 13-4 to the Mankato East Cougars on Wednesday. Maple Grove has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Mankato East's part, Kylinn Stangl was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Stangl has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season.
