Brazos Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Live Oak Classical Falcons 31-13 on Friday. The win was just business as usual for the Eagles, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.

Brazos Christian found their leader in sophomore Cooper Murr, who threw for 190 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 89 yards. Another player making a difference was Truett Goodyk, who gained 98 total yards and a touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Brazos Christian's defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Brody Garner and Jack Williams, who racked up all four sacks between them. That's the most sacks Garner has posted since back in September.

Brazos Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Live Oak Classical, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Brazos Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 42-15 defeat against First Baptist on the 6th. Live Oak Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
