Bishop McDevitt extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Penn - Keystone this week by beating Red Land, 44-21. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.

Susquehanna Township took down Hershey 49-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Bishop McDevitt's dynamic duo of Alec Werner and Brian Lemelle proved tough for the Patriots to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Werner threw for 239 yards and one touchdown and Lemelle had 148 yards receiving. Tyrone Gibson helped Bishop McDevitt's passing attack out by catching one ball for 44 yards.

Kenton Heinbaugh was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 108 yards on 15 carries as Lower Dauphin defeated Red Land. Teammate Travis Morrill added to the ground attack by rushing for 80 yards.

6-foot-3 quarterback Andrew Ford of Cedar Cliff is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1891. He has also thrown 25 touchdowns. On the ground, the Crusaders' Andre Robinson has rushed for 830 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Lemelle. The Bishop McDevitt star has 45 catches for 749 yards.

The Colts' Ford is within 109 passing yards of surpassing 2,000 on the season coming into this week's game against Bishop McDevitt.

Two highly touted recruits will be in the spotlight when Cedar Cliff and the Crusaders meet this week. Jim Cantafio's team features well-regarded senior Adam Breneman while Bishop McDevitt has Robinson, a sought after sophomore.

A big matchup in Mid-Penn - Keystone this week will be when the Colts take on the Crusaders. Cedar Cliff is in sixth place, while Bishop McDevitt is in first place.

There should be lots of points scored when the Colts and the Crusaders face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Cedar Cliff comes in having scored 325 this season, while Bishop McDevitt has scored 305. The Colts scored 21 points last week as they fell to the Falcons.

The Indians led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Trojans.
