Softball Recap: Ashbrook Comes Up Short

Ashbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Stuart W. Cramer Storm, falling 19-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 back in March.

Ashbrook's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-10 record this season.

Ashbrook will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crest at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they have already played their next game, an 8-5 victory against Forestview on the 17th.
