Estero entered their tilt with Palmetto Ridge on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Estero never let Palmetto Ridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 27-25, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Palmetto Ridge had strong showings from Ava Azcuy, who had 15 digs and three aces, and Cailee Kerr, who had 16 digs. Azcuy is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

Estero's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Palmetto Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Estero will square off against Neumann at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Palmetto Ridge, they will face off against Lely at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
