Basketball Recap: North Judson-San Pierre Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Judson-San Pierre walked away with it. They walked away with a 29-21 win over the Culver Community Cavaliers on Friday. The 29-point effort marked the Bluejays' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Judson-San Pierre to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyleigh Lehiy, who posted ten points along with five boards and four steals. Lehiy is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Avaree Johnston was another key player, putting up five points.

The victory (which was North Judson-San Pierre's seventh in a row) raised their record to 20-4. As for Culver Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-9.

North Judson-San Pierre didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-35 loss against Elkhart Christian Academy on the 8th. Culver Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
